Sandy's on another black-and-chrome mission!

Yesterday, I found the base of an Oster Classic VIII blender for a buck - in my favored black-and-chrome finish.

But there's no jar, and what did I expect for a dolla anyway?

I am looking for the correct jar, pictured below. This version of the jar has a separate handle fastened to the jar with a metal band - it does not have the one-piece molded glass handle Oster used later.

And, of course, I'm looking for black. There's one on eBay, but it's kind of rough, and I was hoping someone's hoard - uh, parts stash - might contain one of these.

The lid is not essential; those are fairly easy to replace. Just an intact jar and handle.

Thanks!

I could also use just the handle, in black, because I do have an Oster jar with this handle in Harvest.

So, I could switch handles.

Again, thanks!

Sandy, I definitely have just the handle but I'll have a dig out in the garage to see if I perhaps have an intact jar still!

BLESS YOU!

I have been looking for a chrome-and-black Osterizer forever, and this is a huge help.

The handle in black is really all I need; please don't take time away from family and friends to find a jar.

Thanks very much! Please let me know what you need for the item and how I can pay you.

Search under Sunbeam as well if you weren't doing a wide search because that jar was also used on the 60's and 70's Sunbeams. I don't have an extra otherwise you could have it .

I just saw a jar last week at Salvation Army.  I don't think it had a lid but I'll run over there tomorrow and see if it's still there.  Did they make a plastic version of this jar because it seems to me it may have been plastic.  If it is, do you still want it?
