That dryer is a Kenmore. The washer is an Admiral

Rick, the dryer has a bazillion buttons! It looks like a Limited Editions, but with so many buttons,it looks more like a washer. Didn't you own one of these at one time? :-)

Phil-
I didn't have the electronic dryer. I had the electronic washer- bought it in 89. I think that dryer is from the early to mid 80's. My washer had the newer touchpads on it with the red LED timer window in the center of the console. It didn't match this particular dryer.

That dryer is one of the earlier ones (Limited Edition) - it has the "chrome" strip across the front, just beneath the top. Also appears to be in the very rare Toast color.

The reason for all of those buttons across the bottom of the panel was for timed dry: 10,20,30 etc.

Rick/ Lawrence - thank you, it does look like the toast color, I agree

Tom - that's crazy electronics, but back when it was cool looking, with so many buttons for timed drying. I wonder if the buttons were lit up? (time to bring out an LED kit)

I just took my Kenmore Limited electric dryer out of service and placed the black gas electronic in its place.
That Kenmore is just a 3 temperature dryer with labels of fabric temp for easy guess work answers.
One little pet peeve is the wrinkle guard is auto set for every cycle without cycle signal to let the user know laundry is done.
Otherwise, the dryer is very reliable and fast using low and med temp auto dry cycle.

You read my mind, I wanted to see this panel closer up - thanks Larry.
So you're keeping the same model but going to gas or ? ....or newer model altogether.
Thanks for the info and posting a good closeup.
