Yes,it is poppy red. Loved it. Had the entire Custom Imperial line in Ft.Lauderdale, Fl. Loved the laundry pair, dishwasher, three door.frig.,trash compactor and Touch N Cook range. The dishwasher was a bit loud but got my dishes sparkling Super Surge clean!! The only other color in appliances I like is turquoise.
This is a newer version with the solid "AgiTub". It's not one of the WCI perferated tub models. You can tell by noticing it's timed fill with no water level selector.i say "newer" because from 1969 to 1976,the washer and dryer doors were white no matter what color the cabinet was. Once they gained popularity,Frigidaire made them in solid and woodgrain finishes. |

The 24" Agitub machines didn't have shading in their colors like the full size appliances had. Poppy was the red color with shading on the edges. Frigidaire called the non-shaded version "red" on it's Laundry centers. In the late-seventies, most manufacturers stopped to offer shaded colors and Frigidaire renamed it's color "poppy" as "terracotta". So this one is either "red" or "terracotta"
