Just found this ad for vintage appliances in the Chicago. Included is a front loader Bendix. They are asking $300 for it. It is located at a Habitat for Humanity.

The Bendix reminds me of a sober visit to one of my mom and dad's friend's daughter, who had polio. They put her in an "iron lung". I've never been able to look at these Bendix without thinking of the poor Polio victims. It's good some people never experienced either the lung or having to visit someone in it.
But for the price, that was a great deal. Congrats. | ||

I am sorry you're disappointed. Didn't you buy this from a donation store? If so, I doubt they knew the condition of it. | ||
