that poor dryer has definitely seen some better days for it to be rusted on the front of the cabinet like that.

And is it me or does the washer look like a rebadged Westinghouse made for Wards....not sure? Kind of hard to really tell since he decided to stand half way across the room to take the pic of the washer. Maybe if he'd been a little closer we could make it out.

Washer is WCI, the front access panel gives it away.

They have been selling that for months.... It keeps showing up on my local craigslist searches. I posted it here maybe 6 months back or so...

WCI Wards

Wards did use WCI for a few years, then went back to Norge-sourced machines. We had one of those WCI Wards washers, looked exactly the same. The piece of junk only lasted about 4 years. The matching dryer only lasted 3 years.

I worked at M. Wards in 1967 and can't recall what if any of their appliances drew my attention.
