Joe, that is cool! Where it might be used is a matter of opinion and taste - once raised, is that a built in vent system hiding there? I can't tell.

Unconventional (for the US) designs such as this one is what put Jenn-Air on the map. Pity that as time goes on, every unique appliance manufacturer has to default to the same old rancid and unimaginatively standard designs that the vast majority of US consumers seem to buy when the time comes.
I had a futile discussion with a young friend of mine at a ThG party this weekend who was remodeling her kitchen but wouldn't listen to any idea that challenged her limited idea of how a kitchen had to work and how it had to be laid out. Ironically, this young woman is a PhD who prides herself, normally, for being able to think "outside the box". |
