Phil, the dishwasher in the ad above is a newer Kitchen Aid KDS-18 from the late seventies.

Here's one GE fridge on Kijiji Ottawa:

www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html...

Unlike most GE bottom freezer models, it has a hinged freezer door (instead of a drawer).

I swear, the variations on GE Combinations have me scratching my head.  The turquoise one looks like an early Frost Guard model, yet has no serpentine coil.  Maybe this is a characteristic of the smaller capacity models only?

Then we have the newer coppertone one with hinged freezer door.  I have a feeling that one is a very late model.

PhilR / Ralph - we need room to add a few of the variations! Interesting, PhilR…a hinged freezer door….that's a new orientation I've not seen before.

That avocado vent hood looks exactly like my 1984 brushed chrome & black version.

I'll bet that yellow fridge went cheap since they were under a deadline.  It would be nice if they'd delete the ads after the estate sale was over.

Ralph - Model TCF-19C was last bid $105, as you probably saw. But, where is the final price listed? Odd, to me, that it isn't posted. I wonder how much above the $105 bid price - 34 bids.

Phil, I didn't notice the online auction info.  If it went for $105, that was a great deal.  I'm betting it was in nice shape inside if the exterior is any indication.

Auction link

ovrphil's profile picture
Ralph - the link in the aw.org post with the photo of the refrigerator…will take you to the posting. The original CL posting has TWO links, the first which is:
www.ctonlineauctions.com/detail.a...
and this has auction information. It indicates that the auction has ended, with the last highest bid and the highest bidders identified.

I'm sorry that I found the ad AFTER the auction…way after. Why was it left in CL if they had to sell it by November 5? It was such a "looker", I had to post it anyways.
