I totally agree with everyone else. Definitely a Norge.

Friend had almost the same model but had 5 temp. selection, and 4 wash/spin speed choices. Plus of course it had the burpilator in it. Machine had great capacity. Always had a distinctive sound to it when it was running between the sound of the motor and it burping while it washed.

When Norge came out with those VHQ machines with their giant tubs they were very popular and the store sold a lot of them. For a period of time there was a steady stream of them in the service department. I do remember them making a racket.
