Real Host and not a ghost, the host with most cooks with a Real Host.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Never heard of a Real Host oven.

Looks a little earlier than '50s to me.  But those burners (not the grates) look like they've never been used.

And is that a griddle along with those six -- count 'em -- six burners?

The stove reminds me of my neighborhood - over 60 kids and many families having 4, 5, 7, and two families having 12 kids. This is just the stove for those particular circumstances.

And I'm with you Stephanie, I'd prefer the real deal - no Phoney-Baloneys for me.

:-)

Dave, you live in Oak Park - you know where the Tastee Freeze is located across from the high school, near Catalpa and Coolidge? I grew up on that street, where there were more than 60 kids to play with. I do remember a few big stoves, but not big enough for 12 kids. LOL.

That stove looks like it weighs 500lbs.

I would guess the broiler is in the top drawer on the left, as there is no broiler under the oven.

Yes, North OP by Berkley is my hood...! I grew up south of here, but worked in Berkley from my teens through my early-twenties, so I live by Berkley now, Phil...!
