I am looking to see if anyone could tell me when my maytag j2l was manufactured. Not actually take it to a movie or anything lol. It's serial number is : G269904p.

you may want to recheck your serial number to make sure you wrote it down correctly. from what I'm seeing you're missing something. You can also check for your date at Appliance411.com to get your date.

The number is correct in that order that's why I had trouble finding a date for it

That's a pre-1954 production machine.

Different serial number system was in use then.

Very late June 1952.
