If it were closer, would bid just for the manuals and other extras. Saw this item last night while "trolling" eBay, but that unit looks like it has lead a hard life.If I'm not mistaken, isn't that rust along the top of the cabinet? As for the seller not knowing how the washer works, one has to assume since the owner's manual is right there, he/she has at least peaked to find out what is what. Then again considering some eBay sellers these days, that may be asking too much. L. |

Glenn, I think that's just great. Back in the day, our boss in the appliance repair shop had a "check first" list for each brand. And "Socken gefressen?" was right up near the top for these Hoovers. Sound advice for most spin-dryers, actually. If you don't have the spin mat or Waschfee or whatever, I have found the collapsable stainless-steel steam racks (without the legs :-)) that fit into saucepans ideal for the job. They unfold in the drum, they don't rust or stain the clothes and they keep everything in. Water spins out through their holes perfectly. What is the cycle like on that one? |

A word in your shell like ear. Make sure the flooring/RV is level, especially when spinning or the washer will "travel". This is especially true when spinning heavy items/large loads and or the spin load is out of balance. Also it might be a good idea to lay in a supply of "wee-wee" pads or old towels for use on the floor around the machine during wash day. Make no mistake about it, using a Hoover TT is a great way to clean your clothes and your floors at the same time. Well done, and wishing you and your Hoover TT Happy Trails! L. |
