I think it's a beautiful avocado.  But I've also tried to stop bashing the disgusting color pink.  I'd rather look at avocado or gold than pink.  And I'd prefer coppertone/brown and turquoise over those two.  I don't think avocado was around in 64 or 65.  I think this was more like 67 or 68.

I believe this has to be a 1966 - first year for avocado and last year of production for this Americana.

That one in Greenville has the ice maker. The first one I've seen that still has it left.

Countryford - do you know if the ice makers are just one of the weak spots of these units and that's why (maybe?)you haven't seen the ice makers in them.

I have heard that the ice makers did fail or have problems.
