I think you are talking about two different machines. The machine you pictured is missing part of the dial (easy fix I know) but the console around the timer dial in the one machine is in better condition than the other.

Does the tub on this look worn or damaged

In the fourth photo on the ad does the tub look like it's been worn or painted? I can't tell and would it damage items being washed?

As a kid, I was always disappointed that the  "Lady Kenmore"  of later years did not come with a rotoswirl.

If I had been and adult at the time, I would of ordered a RS and scrubber cap from the catalogue, day one.  I know we all have our favorite Kenmore agitation.

I was worried about the porcelin tub, but it is gorgeous.

Meant the washer reminded one of that decade, not that the machine was actually used on the television program hence the quotation marks.

These are some of my favorite washers. I don't know about the differences in washing capacity, quality, or all that...maybe that will be later for me, but from how it looks, it "talks" nice to me.
