I e mailed the seller to see how far back these parts go. No answer yet. If they are old parts, I'm willing to bid on this and combine the items with the Mississippi items.

Hopefully those of us who might be interested will NOT mention this website to the seller------because doing so ALWAYS drives the price of any other collectible items through the roof needlessly!

Well, yahoo maps says 130 miles, maybe the county, but I know people that drive from there to here for work daily.

Ok Guy's, I am headed there! Let's see what machines are lurking in the rear dusty corner of this place.

This is a JOKE BTW.

GO FOR IT. Go now, time is of the essence. The place in Mississippi had just thrown away about 25-30 nice machines in working order before we arrived. Don't waste time. I am excited for whoever will go. Keep us posted.

I emailed this seller through eBay the same evening that he posted his auction. I asked him for an inventory so I knew what was included (just like the other auction). After 2 more emails through eBay, he finally responds with "there is no inventory listing." So I asked him if I sent him a parts list, could he tell me if these items were included in the auction, or about how many parts were in the auction, or could he at least take some photos and email them. He emailed back that he could check some parts but could not take any photos and there were 'boxes' of parts included. So I emailed him a list in numeric order and have not heard from him since.

I also had two friends of mine email him, asking the same questions but they have not received any responses either. So if any of you get a response from him, best of luck!

I'm Ready

If you think this is worthwhile. I'll make the $100 bid. Let me know. I still have not received a response from this seller on how far back the parts go.

Glenn & I have talked about this auction as it is fairly close to both of us. We have already talked to the seller and he mentioned that it is MAINLY STOVE PARTS. I'm thinking not much washer-related stuff exists as he did not name specific washer parts, only specific stove part numbers like clock dials and thermostats, etc. I do want to check the place out to see IF there is anything worth taking.

It's better to leave this one to us Texans; sorry if this offends anyone. Basically, don't go bombarding him with emails to drive the price up. If you do decide to ignore this advice, I will be laughing my @$$ off when someone bids on this lot and it is mostly stove parts and old junk they will have no use for and will have to get rid of.

What goes around comes around...

Hi Gang,

Saw this auction in one of my eBay trawls and decided not to post here in the group. After all the furore broke out over the last parts auction, decided if someone else came upon it, then so be it, but this little bunny was not going to start another Donnybroke.

Best of luck to those who are going in, though.

L.

Gyrafoam,

You must have me confused with someone else. I did not make it to Mississippi. Wished I did.

In your opening post you stated you were willing to combine this with the parts in Mississippi----so thought you had an interesting adventure to tell us about!

Must have misunderstood.

Confusing

Gyrafoam,

Sorry about that. I could see how that was misleading. I was trying to say that if I bid and won this auction I would somehow get the parts to the previous auction winner and combine this win with the other items. As it stands it looks like this auction has no washer or dryer parts we need. We can keep our fingers crossed if the Texas connection find out otherwise.
