Back to to work on it...modified the back panel to accept the newer water valve...(yes its hacked up...sorry)...with the newer valve installed this way its easier to disconnect the hoses and keeps the wires farther away from the potato pulley.. put more glop on the tub hose and it seems to stay watertight.. now when I get some nerve Ill tape the door switch wires and hopefully sparks wont fly.
