This is an A206 c.1969 or later-it has a permanent press cycle on the dial--they made this model for many years so it is hard to pinpoint the year without a serial #. Maybe Unimatic or Gansky could do it by picture alone. Great machine. Used one for 4 years. Only problem, which a local Maytag serviceman said was typical, was that on cold days, agitation started up very slowly until a certain part connected to the helical drive "warmed up". Quite as a church mouse. And sported my favorite dark blue porcelain tub with a black powerfin agitator with a turquoise lint filter/softener top. I'd certainly snap it up. |

Thanks for the info. I have less than a day to make up my mind if I want this. One member here said I should hold out for a match to my dryer, so I'm on the fence. |
