Did the dryer invite other appliances from the neighborhood and have a party with balloons and cake and ice cream??

Not exactly,

but maybe it dried the table cloth from the party that got cake, ice cream and frosting on it by the nearby friends who had dinner there. One may have even driven five hours to get there. Neither of us get any cake anyhow now.

Good, but it's not done yet!

Treat it to a cleaned out exhaust duct, vacuum it out, and de-wax the lint screen. Then keep it going for another 30.

de-lint the motor, get a few drops of turbine oil in the motor bearings, you're set for a lifetime-

My Maytags are pushing the 35 year mark. One repair on the washer and zero on the dryer. I will never give them up. They still run as quiet as they did as new and wash and dry like they should.

My A412 that replaced a 90 series Kenmore is the best machine I have ever had, it too has hit the 30 year mark, washes like a dream, so quiet, I wont get rid of it......now to find a matching electric dryer to go with it

The set I had were about that age too. I gave them to a friend who is using them now. Great machines.

Still 30 years old... again?

I just noticed the original poster (in their only other post) posted something similar to this nearly a year and a half ago.

Is this a case of the dryer turning 30 again... and again... and again?   LOL

I bought my DE806, still bolted to the shipping pallet, in the summer of 1975.
