This would be mine. My mom had this set and they worked great. There are others I would want as well. I'll post pics if I can find them.

Mine is a hoover twin tub washer with any mix or match 120 volt dryer that matched them they don't have to match each other however I prefer a built in fill spout in the washer not that I would always use it but the spout would be just to have. Also I prefer blue if possible but I can always paint mine blue so color is no real issue.

Always the one that I don't have. And first on that long list would be the rare Duo Load in Coppertone:

Thumper in PANK!

And a big, whomping 1959 GE footpedal dryer in Turquoise.

Any Thumper would do, but a Unimatic would be nice.

Bet ya didn't see that coming.  LOL

Gary,  is that the gas dryer that Jeff and I messed around with back in 2009??  If so, I'd have to say no because we don't have a gas line in either house  ...  sigh....

Mine would probably be either the very rare 1958 Kenmore timeline or the 1959 GE filter flo.

Either

of the Inglis sets are great also, with a butler and a housekeeper of course.
Also the KWC faucet on the gold sets laundry sink. "I don't think it's a Kohler Coralais." Nice for shampooing a dog, etc.

WCI-58!

1958 Frigidaire TOL WCI-58 Unimatic. Color doesn't matter, as I like them all. Strangely enough, I stumbled upon the matching dryer in white. It's in my basement right now awaiting its mate.

Mine would be any of a few:

Avocado Maytags with center dial and lighted console

Kenmore electronic set in black or white with lighted consoles

GE Filter-Flo set with the white and chrome consoles

That would be a tough one. But first off a Maytag A806 with a matching DE806 dryer.

Kevinator washer & matching gas dryer of about 1958 vintage with the "do all" dial that reminds me much of the Norge time line models in pale yellow of course!

Dream Vintage Washer and Dryer

richardlxixxx's profile picture
Mine dream vintage set would have to be either a mid 1960's Lady Kenmore with the roto swirl agitator and the matching dryer.
Or:
a TOL Easy washer and dryer.

Mom had the Lady Kenmore and it was not only the best washer, but it lasted for years.
Aunt Ida had the Easy.
Both were incredible machines. Too bad nothing of that quality is manufactured anymore.

Richard

3. Maytag 906 washer and matching dryer

4. Hotpoint Duo Tub washer and matching dryer

5. Frigidaire Control Tower Unimatic Washer and matching vented dryer
