Did Speed Queen ever produce a front-loading machine for home use before the 1990s?

There are old 1960's and 1970's SQ TL's all day long, but I have never seen or heard of a Speed Queen FL washer before the 1990s for residential use. Did they ever produce any wash-only and/or wash/dry combo FL machines for domestic/light commercial use before the Horizon?

Come to think of it, did they ever produce a commercial FL machine (softmount, hardmount) before the 1980s/1990s?

Sure did, in fact they have had a picture of one as the POD before.

To clarify, SQ did produce a washer-dryer combination in the 1960s when most manufacturers had stopped offering them.

A FL similar to the first SQ FL machines was manufactured for sale under the Amana brand in the 1990s, I think, but all were recalled because of a leaky door gasket.

Coin-op laundries with SQ TLs relied on Troy Big Boys or, sometimes, Milnors for large capacity FL washers.

I seem to recall seeing literature for an Amana front-loader but they never arrived at the dealership. Maytag Neptunes and Electrolux-made Frigidaires were the first non-WCI machines to hit the US market.

Speed queen was the last company to introduce a combo to the US market in 1961.

They only produce them for a few years, speed Queen's combo was a downsized version of the short-lived 1957 Hotpoint. Combo.

Speed queen re-engineered the 30 inch wide Hotpoint Combo down to a 25 1/2 inch wide speed queen combo, the speed queen combo is called the compact combo. Speed Queen's combo with the smallest one made in the US and was about the size of most European ones.
