Welcome. You've found the right place with many knowledgeable, similar minded and friendly fellow members who are a wealth of information concerning vintage appliances. Keep your eyes open on CL, eBay and Shoppers Square here and you'll find your Frigidaire. You may also find what you're looking for by posting a want ad here.

Welcome!

Tyler-

Welcome to the group! Like you, I love Frigidaires from the 60s and 70s. Not long after I started following this site, one of my dream machines popped up on craigslist near me. I snatched it up and later its matching dryer. They're both working great and are lots of fun.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I do not have a lot of knowledge concerning vintage Frigidaire washers and dryers....My grandparents and parents always had these in our homes when I was growing up! I am open to information, advice on Frigidaire washers/dryers from the 1960's & 1970's.

Welcome to the club Tyler! You couldn't ask for a better group of people who are fellow collector's that are so friendly and willing to share experiences and advice if needed.

If you have any questions, just ask! Someone normally chimes in with a suggestion or answer to help you.

Good luck in searching for your machines.

If you post your desires here you'll definitely broaden your search. Others here will help in keeping an eye out and make you aware.

You're in the right place. You'll be able to get lots of help here. When I was 9 years old 1962 my mom got a Frigidaire Custom Imperial set in Coppertone that she had bought from my sister. It was neat to watch. She also had a brand new Maytag Wringer Washer E2LP. We lived on a farm with a well, so to conserve water she would wash a load of good clothes in the Frigidaire and then pump the wash water into the wringer to do the rest of the wash. The good old days. I have a 1976 Frigidaire 1-18 rollermatic in my collection.
