Amana sourced these machines around 1980 on. Amana had side-opening lids, SQ went to all back-opening lids. Not sure why they did it this way unless simply to differentiate themselves from SQ. They are all perforated tub, SQ no longer made any solid tub washers after 1979-80. An aunt had this same machine bought about 1981'ish.
Here's the same washer I had a few years back. Recirculating filter, decent washing, mediocre spin (about 600) and wastes a shocking amount of water by spraying into the filter ring at the top of the basket, not on the clothes, during the too-long spray rinse. And it's loud. Other than that...
