70 Series, same settings/cycles as my washer but with a Dual-Action agitator and no visible recirculating filter. Machines in great shape; located in California.

Also...A-1 just called and they replaced the water pump on my '82 so we should be in good shape...picking it up tomorrow. Time to try out the Roto-Swirl and shelf the Penta-Vane!!!! Will also include pictures of Don's GE & WP stuff he sent!

I saw a similar set at a sale last week - also in near-mint condition but the washer had the triple dispenser and a few more options, probably a 90 series.

These are great machines. I have 3 washers and one dryer like these. I had to put a belt on one that was in a peice of rental property and that was it, the tenate couldnt destroy it.

water pump replacement

Wow, Austin, I'm surprised you PAID to have a mere water pump replaced. From previous posts, you seem handy enough to replace a water pump yourself, they are pretty easy on BD and DD machines.

No, my machine's under a 1-year warranty from A-1.

If I did have to pay I definitely would have done it myself--I have the repair manual.

As a follow-up, when the Kenmore's warranty expires next November (and when the GE's warranty expires next July), you'll be seeing a lot of "self-repair" pictures for both machines if anything happens! ;-)
