Years ago now some bright blub purchased/resurrected trademarks of old laundry appliances and began flogging Chinese/Asian built machines under those trademarks. Thor is one of them, though don't think many born after WWII even know who or what Thor once was. Machines were usually combo washer/dryer units.
IIRC these are the same persons who brought us Splendide, Malber, Equator and a few other off the wall brands. These units have a following with the RV crowd along with perhaps small boats. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thor_washi... www.evansclarke.com.au/de... www.adverts.ie/washing-machines/t... www.did.ie/thor-5kg-washing-machi... |
