I was at my local Habitat for Humanity and I discovered this old fan. The fan did not have a manufacturers name or date on it so I was wondering if anyone could tell me who made it and what year it is from. Thanks

Looks like it was made by Kuo Horng. I think I've seen the logo on the front before, but I can't say whose it is. Probably just a rebrand for a store or other company made by Kuo Horng. As for the date I'd guess early-mid 1980s, if not late 1970s.

most were labeled under the Lasko/Galaxy/Sanyo etc namesakes...even Sears slapped their name on a few....

most 9" and smaller versions had knobs, larger units had pushbuttons....

most all the parts are interchangeable, as long as you stick within the same blade size...

I have more 12" models than I can count....and a few 16" ones...

they are very durable, super quiet and powerful fans...

when ever I find them at thrift stores I grab them....

I still have the first one I ever got, a 12 inch blue blade....a Galaxy model from Eckerd Drugs back in 1975...

Oscillating fans are like waiting for a bus....When is that 'air' going to get here?
