No mention of it working, leaking, or needing freon....

Decent looking racks, though!

For some reason...

it seems as if you see a lot of 15 and 17 series, but 16s not so often, oddly.
Stainless panels were also rather rare in the 60s era, my folks had to special order a KDS-15 with SS in 1965.

Looks like "rinse and hold and light wash" were the household favs.

KDS-16 DW

This was my favorite one wash arm KA DW, you don't see as many KD16 KA DWs because the 16 series only lasted about two years where as the 15 and 17 series DWs ran almost 4 years each.

The front panels on this DW could be either Brushed Chrome or Stainless Steel, both were available, BC was a little more yellow and cheaper and SS was a little bluer in color and a few dollars more expensive.

The 16 series production dates were 5/68-5/71.  The 15 series was 4 yeas and the 17 & 17a series were 5 years.

We got a KDI-16 in early '71, which I transferred to Pete (Rollermatic) a few years ago. It was a much better machine than the '58 GE before it.
