Hello everyone!

It has been a while since I posted --- I have spent much of the summer involved with moving my Mom from her house of the last 31 years. That has turned out great, but getting her ready involved getting rid of a lot of unneeded stuff that filled a 3,000+ sq ft house and consolidating what was left into a 1,150 sq ft apartment. She did most of this herself but it reminded me of how much stuff I should get rid of myself.

Well, naturally my first thought is of how many belt drive KMs and WPs I have, and how little time there is these days to work on them and how many I truly need, OK want, considering those I already have in my useable collection.

So here I am with a list of machines that I would like to find new homes for. You need to expect that these machines will need work. I don't have pictures right now as these are in storage, but most of you know what these are anyway.

THE LIST:

1963 Lady Kenmore 800 set in Coppertone. Washer is a suds saver, dryer electric.

1964 Lady Kenmore 900 set in Coppertone. Washer needs bearings.

1964 Lady Kenmore dryer in white, electric

1965 Lady Kenmore 900 set in Coppertone. Were working when removed from original installation in 2010. These may be pre-sold but if you are interested, please let me know.

1965 Kenmore 800 dryer in gas. Is like new, almost never used. Full width door model. Older style belt-drive blower model.

1966 Lady Kenmore 900 set in Avocado. Were made in 1968. Have original owner's paperwork even the sales receipt. These are the stars in several of RedCarpetDrew's videos on YouTube. Andy fully rebuilt the dryer. Washer could use bearings.

1963 Kenmore 600 dryer. Very well used but nice.

1967/1968 Kenmore 700 hidden panel washer and dryer -- the models with the sliding controls door cover. Washer needs bearings, dryer is mint.

1967 Kenmore 200 MOL 24-inch washer. In great cosmetic shape, washer was a trade in to me for one of the first washers I sold in 1991. I have had it ever since. Needs bearings.

1974 Kenmore 200 large capacity washer - one of the first when large capacity went mainstream.

1974 Lady Kenmore 900 set in Gold. Dryer is gas, washer had its wiring harness removed from the cabinet, don't know why, but it is all there.

1964 ish Whirlpool washer with the controls stacked in a box, right hand side. Has not seen much use, needs work on the timer.

For my last two entries, I have 12-15 1980s belt drive Whirlpool washers. Most are LA7680s, there are a couple earlier 80s models. These I can get pics of pretty easily. Most are from Arizona and are rush free, which is great for a restoration.

Finally, I have many black panel Kenmore washers from 1978 to 1986. Most colors, even Toast, including a half dozen Lady Kenmore machines. I have seen some posts here from folks saying these were hard to find for them. Yes they are, but I have rescued/saved enough of these for everyone if you can relocate them from Charlotte.

Please let me know if you are interested in any of these machines. You can email me on the site here, or at my hotmail address. I may not check email daily, but will try, just please be patient with me. I will let you know how much $$ I have in them (some may be free), many I have less then $60 in. I just want to move these soon.

Again, they are available in Charlotte, NC.

Thank you everyone!!

Gordon

The washers are from Arizona, and now reside in North Carolina.

Gordon, I know the feeling. I still see the occasional BD, but most are so beat up, I leave them sit. Good luck with the downsizing.

I would love the 63 LK 800's. My neighbors growing up who were a big influence in my life had the exact same set. Lots of great memories helping with the wash and a fun ,fun machine to use. Sadly, I have no place to keep them.

Nice to see you posting again Gordon, been a long time. :)
