THIS is the correct link. I linked that Maytag video to someone else and sorta forgot that it was still in my clipboard:

What Nick said.

But, a few comments anyway.

Nice Maytags!
Like you, I try to keep the washer and dryer that came with our house nice and clean.
I have also switched to white vinegar in the softener dispenser!
I feel like it helps get any remaining detergent residue out of the clothes.
And I love your wash day assistant!
Our previous four-legged child used to love to go down to the laundry room with me on wash days.
The first time that I had to laundry after losing him, I was a wreck!

Barry

Thanks Barry! Yeah, that was the reason for the incorrect link, we're trying to give away the Maytag pair. The dryer is 100%, the washer has an iffy tub seal. We're getting ahold of the older machines, so the Maytags being 1996.. they're great, but we're shooting for "older."

And yup, the kitty (Leeah) is still with us, and insists on inspecting anything we try to video :-)

Love the Kenmore!
The first washer I remember my mom having, and the one that started my enjoyment of washers/dryers was a probably 1960s Whirlpool.
After watching the video of the Kenmore, I had to watch your road trip to go pick it up.
Congratulations on winning it!

I'd love to have a vintage matched washer and dryer, as well as a really nice laundry room.
But I'm not mechanically inclined at all.
So, first, I need to find a friend who knows how to work on vintage appliances, who I can call at any time, and say, "my washer is making a funny noise. Can you come check it out?"

Anyway, so happy for Spats, getting his dream washer! That's so cool.
And I like the agitator too. Seems to do a good job of rolling stuff over.
Happy "woo woo-ing!"

Barry
