I, too, was never a Maytag fan until I got these BOL Harvest Gold beauties. Yeah, the washer isn’t that exciting to watch, but both machines have been extremely dependable. I think they are circa 1975ish...still find it odd that the dryer door opens from right to left when traditionally the washer is on the left. Also, it’s hard to get used to the spin direction of the washer going counter-clockwise compared to most other machines in a clockwise direction.

Not one would wash three loads in a row with out walking across the floor,all but 2 slung oil out all over the floor,,,I guess I just have bad luck with them. |

Mine are exactly like "washerlover's" machine, same color etc. No problems etc. I would love to have and ABC o matic though too. |

They are my all time favorite washers. I get loads and loads done with no problems only thing is my washer will leak water if it over suds. They are memories of my childhood.My Maytags are pictured here
