I can say that the washer is trash, and as with most ge laundry, the dryer isn’t too hot either.

Slightly marred top, (with some rust spots and soars) a bit of wear on the fragile controls, and look at that cheap handle!

No surprise the washer for it is long-gone, so this widowed companion is accordingly also no prize...

Both this dryer and the matching washer are top performing appliances, the problem is durability and expensive and difficult repairabilty on the washer.

Overall a GE dryer like this has about 1/2 the life expectancy of a WP built dryer of the same era, major weak spots are front drum glides and support and motor and cheap thin overall construction.

We see a lot of these dryers where the drum support wears out and the steel drum wears through the right side of the dryers cabinet and into the top of the drum opening, the report we get from the customer is that the dryer is shredding their clothing, LOL
