The LWN432SP115TW01 does not have a water level switch, it will fill the tub to the top. You can add a water level switch if you are willing to swap out the pressure sensor for a level switch and change out the front graphic panel or drill a hole in the existing panel. |

Welcome to our site.....lots to see and do, and plenty to learn....
....this SQ does not have an adjustable water level switch, but as mentioned in other post, can switch out to one that will allow adjustment... I say don't give up hope.....the famed Filter-Flo machine from your past can still be found, just keep your eyes peeled on craigslist and ebay for starters...their still out there, they still made them until sometime around 1995....I have three from 1985 still running strong... they can also be found under the 'Hotpoint' same as well.... keep an eye out for the shape of the lid....

Be careful of voiding by adding anything extra while under warranty! |

the water level may have to be adjusted once you get the machine....you wont know until the first fill....a simple adjustment from inside the control panel, and your good to go from there....there are vids on YT to show you how
as for the ECO-cycle....its a normal full fill for wash, but there is no full fill for the rinse, just spin/sprays, and then move onto to a final spin... HeavyDuty/PermPress are about the only cycles that filled for both www.appliancesconnection....

First of all there is no labor warranty on SQ commercial laundry equipment, it is up to the owner or any other person you get to remove and send back defective parts for free replacements, SQ would have no idea the machine was modified.
Even on regular machines that have up to a seven year warranty, you will not void the warranty if you modify the machine UNLESS you cause a problem because of your modification. The same thing happens if you have a new car, you can customize the car and not void the warranty unless you cause a pacific problem and even then the rest of the car is covered.

Appliance Connection also has the otherwise unavailable front load model in stock in various formats and versions: front control, rear control, control pad, knobs, as a set, Horizon, etc. Also a stacked double dryer I have never seen before. CLICK HERE TO GO TO Stricklybojack's LINK |

Earlier this year, I ordered what appeared to be the 2017 Speed Queen top loader. A few days later, I received a shipping notification and followed the link to their website. That's when I discovered that the 2017 model was no longer available (even though it was listed for sale on their site). Instead, they substituted the comparable 2018 model for the same price without notifying me. I called and canceled the order immediately. |

Hi Robert, I think you are going to enjoy this washer, but one correction, When this new SQ goes to spin it does NOT spin the floating stuff off the top but rather the lighter floating stuff goes down toward the agitator and then ALL the dirty water and lint is forced through the clean clothing.
This is why SQ has built neutral drain versions of your machine for more than a decade to sell in countries where clothes dryers are rarely used, they do this because of complaints about lint streaking on clothing. Every US washer builder has had problems with spin drain perforated basket washers over the last 40+ years and all washers are now neutral drain largely because of this problem. Neutral drain is not perfect as some dirt and scum does get caught in the clean clothing, but nowhere as badly as when the machine is trying to get rid of the dirty water as the clothing is pressed against the wash basket and the water is being forced through it. The best system for getting the dirty water out is a FL washer where the clothing is tumbling as the water drains. John L. |

Actually they were one of the washers that had higher than average linting and often had complaints about lint streaking on clothing again because of the spin drain. GE did revise the hole pattern in the wash basket around the late 60s which helped somewhat.
Unfortunately the agitator mounted lint filter acted like a sifter and because of the movement much of the finer lint worked itself back through. GE FFs are often cited at being good at collecting pet hair, this is mainly because about the only thing this fast moving filter pan collects is longer pieces of lint and hair, LOL. The best TL washers at removing and collecting lint and hair were the WP-KM Belt Drive machines with real back-flush self-cleaning lint filters, these machines set the standard for lint free washers for millions of US house holds. The other machines that did the best job were the early FL washers and the combination washers, with the big holes in the tubs these were by far the best machines at removing and flushing away lint and grit.
