1966 Frigidaire DIAK dryer

Great dryer - and the best of both worlds - thermostatic auto-dry vs the electronic control, with temperature and dryness control. Too bad they didn’t outfit these in ‘66 with a full fluorescent light and chrome trim like a true DI version of this dryer in ‘65.

Does that dial have a light behind when it's on?

Yep - it’s listed as having a bulb for the timer dial in the service manual.

Is it the photo that is distorted or the control panel?  That small dial for the auto dry operated a bias heater on the thermostat that would adjust the dryness to dampness range of the finished load.

The seller appears to have used a crazy fish-eye lens or filter. Wouldn't be my first choice when trying to sell something, but hey it's their dryer. LOL
