Picked up job lot of those Japanese floating lint filters awhile ago, but they've been sat sitting ever since. Meant to use them in the Maytag wringer, but haven't hauled the old girl out since.
www.vova.com/Home-Washing... Yesterday while using the Hoover TT decided to break open a pack to see what there was. After deciphering directions (hint; don't ask a Chinaman laundry attendant at your local to translate. Ours looked at one as if had three heads and replied "it's in Japanese!"), chucked the thing into tub. Well at end of first wash was that impressed at the amount of muck collected. Only used the one and it didn't swirl about with the wash, but rather remained "trapped" by currents in one corner of tub, but boy did it filter. Normally as the Hoover TT drains there is a good amount of lint/muck that collects and even enters the pump. One must wipe out the stuff at bottom of tub before refilling, but the gunk that gets into pump rises up into tub when next filled. This device considerably lessened the amount of muck which remained. Should have taken pictures but was that busy with the Hoover TT (you know what that's like), that forgot. Order came with a job lot of six, so am set for the duration. What clinched the deal was seller had them on eBay but located in USA, so didn't have to wait for things to come from Asia. |
