That is the seller's story and he/she is sticking to it for now. Even if "new" am not sure would pay that kind of money for any wringer washer.

Someone really ought to ask seller for more snaps.
Just the one of exterior simply won't do. I mean the thing looks clean and well polished, but that doesn't tell the entire story.
