I always had a fantasy of designing a kitchen with a 24", 30", 36"and 40" Ultramatic all in a line. It would be my own Jerry-rigged Caloric Ultramatic "Town and Country" rich person's stove. With these two all I'd need to find would be the very rare 24" model with the deluxe backsplash. Think of it, 16 burners, two griddles, 4-6 ovens (and all of them different sizes), a pastry oven and at least one waist-high broiler/rotisserie. Makes me sick when I think what America USED to build compared to the unforgivable crap that's on the market now. I like the fact that on the 30" stove the thermostat burner is in the back. Smart.
