I'm considering one of these units for my kitchen. There is one for sale a couple hours from me, but it's a 30" model, and I want a 40". Any of you got one you'd consider parting with? Reference pic of a 40" width one attached

High Oven HP Hallmark Ranges

These were far better than the Frigidaire Flair ranges, unfortunately they are not as popular as the FD ranges so they are harder to find, we have one at the museum where it is staying.

John is right again

As much as I love Frigidaire stuff, the Hallmark is way ahead, it has a filtering ventilation system no one has matched yet.Our town has a fair number of these owing to the fact our local furniture store sold Hotpoint, the owner still has one in his kitchen that he bought in 66, his wife loves it.

The exhaust system primarily is the reason I want one of these. I love Frigidaires, and Flairs in particular....but have never been able to commit to buying one for all the well-known reasons. The 40" Hallmark is the only thing that appeals to me both for the exhaust setup up AND the burner layout. As I mentioned, there is a 30" model out here by me but it is ridiculously expensive, and not the width I want. I'd sure appreciate being kept in the loop should any of you discover a 40" being available! Question: what is a fair and reasonable price for a 40" Hallmark in ready to use condition (or in need of only minor stuff...?).

We have one!!

Hey there! I hope you are still looking for one of these. We are buying a condo unit from my mother in law, built in 1963. We have been looking for someone to sell this exact model to! It is in complete working condition. All burners, timers, etc. All in working condition. Don't mind the cookies on the inside :) Please let me know if you are interested. -Cassie Vineyard

Allen,

Those Hallmarks are beautiful ranges, and I agree, more desirable than a Flair and much harder to find.

I've got a 1960 Tappan Fabulous 400 which I also like more than a Flair. It does have a ventilation system, but I haven't used it yet so I can't attest to the kind of job it does.

These are by far the best of the High-Oven ranges ever built for many many reasons.

The ventilation system alone is superior to any other system I have ever seen on any other range ever.

Then you have two large burners in the front and two 6" burners in the front as well as two in the back and you have two 4" burners in the front, so you really have have 8 different size elements.

You also have closed-door broiling with the smoke and vapors vented outdoors.

And an easy clean interior with removable Teflon coated panels that you just wash off in the sink, so it is by far the easiest to clean Hi-Oven range oven.

I have a bunch of parts for one of these HP-HM 40" ranges if someone needs them.

I e-mailed Allen about the Ohio Hallmark but haven't seen a reply here or in my in-box.  It probably landed in his spam folder.

Ralph, I *just* received and replied to your email. THANK YOU for alerting me, and I am sorry to be so late in realising anyone had tried to get my attention! Have been busy with the new house and totally ignored my AW habit and emails as well. Ralph, I emailed you my direct contact info (cell/txt) which is about the only way anyone gets me these days! To everyone else--many thanks to Kevin, John, Hans and the two sellers in Ohio and Colorado. I shall contact you both via email in case you aren't checking in here much. I so appreciate everyone's input, and apologise for seemingly being dead or ignoring folks!
Best,
Allen

40" Range Parts Hallmark Hotpoint

Hello, I know this is not the correct thread but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a thread that could help or would be able to help me on this one. I am looking for the master oven and a large burner replacement elements. I am a college student and I cannot buy a new range--not that I want to, Love this one. I cannot find a model number on the range itself nor a manual besides the electrical service manual and that had nothing that helped. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might be able to take the old ones to an appliance parts store, and match them up.

oldinohio Do you still have that unit for sale?

Sorry if it's poor form to post on an old thread, but I came across it when I googled Hallmark Hotpoint. Does oldinohio still have their unit for sale?
