Might that door latch in the center bottom of the panel mean that this is a rebadged KitchenAid?

It is a WP DW, KA never built DWs for anyone else, the only time a KA style DW ever appeared under a another name was when the parent owner of ISE, Emerson Electric and WP bought KA they briefly sold KA style DWs under the ISE name to try and food the anti-trust regulators.
