There are various washers, spacers and a clip ring that holds the drum shaft in a properly aligned position in the bearing housing, something is missing or not in the correct position.
Something did not get back together in the sensor circuit as well or the excess front to back play in the drum is not allowing the slip-ring and pick-up brush to stay in contact.
Hopefully you can fix it from the back but you might have to tear it all apart again.

Is the dryer a halo of heat? Or is it newer? Obviously you screwed something up. Spin the drum and find out where it is scraping. Use common sense and you should be able to put it back together. |
