My cousins in Lebanon, OH had one like this. They got it when they renovated the kitchen sometime in the mid 60's. They also put in a GE double oven and cooktop, and Mutchsler cherry cabinets. It was one of the fanciest kitchens I'd ever seen at that time.

I had a Coldspot 16 very similar years ago, in coppertone, minus ice maker. You could set the butter tray for soft or hard and rearrange the Spacemaster inside to fit whatever you needed to. To bad todays models are not as user friendly

WOW! Cool fridge. I’ve been looking at older ones but it seems like I remember John mentioning a few later models that were well insulated and reasonably efficient. Dependability and ease of finding parts/making repairs are important. Sarah

Get a manual defrost model

They are very cheap to operate and much more reliable.
