Getting ready for a cabbage roll dinner at church for tomorrow.
Pulled out their early 60s KitchenAid K-5-A. I ended up finding the paddle is stuck on the shaft, and doesn’t budge when trying to remove it.

Does anyone have any suggestions for trying to get the paddle off?

Dripping Rust Buster down the shaft so that it runs into the socket of the paddle.

WD40?

Wash super well later, of course.

Take a small torch,

Gently heat the shank of the paddle, being aluminum, it will expand much quicker than the steel shaft and turn loose!
