Well the party is once again over (for the time being at least) for this machine...I got both the wash light and the rinse light flashing, and a burnt rubber or electronics smell in the air...any ideas? The manual linked below says it’s the door lock or motor board(!)...ffs CLICK HERE TO GO TO stricklybojack's LINK |

Well looks like this old dog has learned a new trick...how to fix my SQ FL washer doohickey...and I DIDN’T have to replace, or even touch, the motor board...phew! Turns out the reason for the kaput was a stuck pump...kids pocket contents basically. THIS TIME...unlike past episodes of this tee vee show, I fixed it myself...yea me! Cleared the jam, re-plugged it in, and ran a rinse/spin test with the machine empty... ”what’s that water fall sound?” Oops! So then I re-connected the drain hose, better late than never. Then most of the spin was at speed I rarely experience while loaded (fast), and a top speed I had never experienced before! So it past that test, then i re-filled with the wet contents I removed before the repair, another rinse and spin, and all is well. This post was last edited 05/30/2019 at 20:35 |
