Was able to disassemble and play with the freezer in our 1961 Frost Free bottom freezer unit this weekend. Fixed a noisy fan and tested the defrost heater. All good stuff.

But...

I believe the cam/timer is sticking. Once I was able to turn it with a screwdriver it now makes a ticking sound all the time - my fridge is the "the bomb".

Does anyone recommend a specific source or timer replacement. Yes, I know best would be the 2x per day 32 min timer, 5 wire unit... would love to find that if possible.
