a top loader, now that's different for a countertop model. Many women and some men would need a step stool to load/unload it.

I was also thinking about clearance for the lid when open with the upper cabinets, that would be a nightmare. I suppose it would be cool to see the UV light shining through that window, 45-minute cycle sounds like pre-rinsing would be required,

Where does silverware go? On the fold-down shelf shown with chopsticks on it in the photo?

Considering rice bowls make up the majority of the load, I guess chopsticks are all the silverware needed.

Kind of a nifty little unit.  I wonder if the top is removable.  One of the overhead view pix suggests it could be.
