There is a difference between what is labeled "Mid century" now, and the actual architecture and furnishings etc. that were actually around in the middle of the last century.
This is a "Modern Mid century" house.

Sort of like the "West Coast Answer" answer to that high-rise apartment that was "All Board Room"...

(Where is that thread? What happened to it? It's what made me upgrade my membership, searching for it!)

Love the house, the decorating not so much.  "Trying too hard" was the first thing that came to mind.

Laundry room-figure in a house that big and the rich owner-he probably sent the laundry out to be done.

I wouldn't like the uncovered windows in the bedrooms-you would be like an animal in a zoo-patrons can watch you sleeping or.....Dangle enough bills in front of the seller-maybe you can get that pretty pink Mustang!I like that!

Even with triple-pane glass, that place would be expensive to air condition, especially with that thin roof. But of course, a person that owns that property could care less about the electric bill, would have the entire roof covered with solar panels (that require constant cleaning here in the Desert) and probably spend the summer in one of several other luxury homes in cooler climates. A large array of solar panels installed at an angle would ruin the architectural appeal of that house. Jealously spoken by someone who lives is a Desert cracker box.
