Inglis No, it's just the cheapest model from 1998. No name except Inglis- commercial. I think I paid around $650 for it which is equivalent to $960 in 2019 dollars. I guest it wasn't that cheap but it's been worth it. Never a service call but it won't work on permanent press cycle. I can live without that, have been for 14 years. | ||

if it do not work on perment press but on other cycle then i know what the problem is its a defective timer motor my mom and i own an inglis direct drive inglis superb II from 1993 to 2005 only had 2 repairs 1 a motor replacement because the motor had burn down second repair was a timer replacement because it was skiping the first spin directly to the rinse cycle on the normal cycle but perment press cycle and gentle cycle work it look like this with matching dryer no longer own the set but the pic was google if you have the timer replace your perment press cycle should work this site might help you if your husband is good at fixing things www.partselect.ca/Inglis-...

VMW Cabrio washplate HE washer.Bearings damaged by failed main seal will make a roaring sound-screeching might be belt slipping?belt is a stretch type with no adjustment. None of my VMW washers has made a screeching sound or had evidence of belt slippage though... | ||
