That clock must have been a swing-into-place thing or something the installer would attach upon delivery. Otherwise, the box and crate would need to be 8" taller just for an awkward, easily snapped off accent.
That's not good logistics planning. While this thing is probably heavy, I doubt it's as bad as moving a porcelain double wide frig from this same era, or some stainless steel commercial stove of the same width today. |
