Dominion based in Mansfield, Ohio (also once the home of some of Westinghouse's divisions) was bought by Hamilton Beach/Scovill in 1969. Research shows in 1971 the Mansfield plant was closed and consolidated with Hamilton Beach's plant.

Many appliances were branded Dominion by Hamilton Beach-Scovill during the 1970s and into 1980s, such as the Burger Mac, Crock A Dial, Fry All and Tall Fry, etc.

Does anyone know what happened to the name after that? Just was abandoned?

I've been noticing some Chinese appliances popping up on eBay with the Dominion name, but a different logo so I'm assuming it was abandoned.

Seems as if Dominion Electric Corp of Mansfield, OH just closed up and vanished.

Found some NLB proceedings from 1967, and various legal actions from same period, but nothing about when they shut down, were bought out, etc...
