Well the repair guy replaced the motor under warranty. Didn't fix the problem. But apparently something was wrong with the old motor. It now spins so much more water out of the clothes. Last resort they replaced the main control board under warranty. No change!!!

He told me the intermitting screeching sound is probably transmission related. He told me to continue to use it until it seizes up. He said it could be tomorrow, next week, next month or a year from now. He charged me $127.03 (labor and trip charge). He said they have done all they can do.

One strange thing is each time he ran the diagnostics it made the screeching sound. I've washed 8 loads of clothes this past week. It screeched only one time. It was a small load of towels done on the Quick wash cycle.

Don't know!!!I'll use it until it falls apart!!!
