56 was a very good year.

It was a good year, and a surprisingly good machine. But I paid $10 for mine, in about 1970. Wish I had it now but not for $300.
In A Walk Through The Park there was  a note that "it saved the d/w industry". Anybody know if it was really that popular? Or just a huge improvement over the earlier non automatic mobile model?
