hello to all i have a question what is the best vintage washer for use as daily driver? right now this is very long-term planing but i find this model by westinghouse interesting looks like a good washer looks simple easy to use of course i would try to find a harvest gold model with the same blue agitator but that also has the liquid fabric softener dispenser and i also like the option to select the wash rinse speed depending on what i have to wash like exemple normal gentle for perm press shirts and the side lide that gives easy acess to the washer control with the matching dryer of course other pics harvest gold as well are plan b incase i would not find westing house or 1976 harvest gold canadien kenmore with rotoswirl agitagor also with liquid fabric softner dispenser mounted on agitator thank you for any answers

First of all, if you are using a dryer, you do not need gentle spin for permanent press garments; that only wastes money by having to evaporate more water in the dryer. The heat of the dryer is what eliminates wrinkles and resets the memory for creases in pants, etc in the garments. I did permanent press garments in a Frigidaire that spun at 1140 and I do them in a modern Speed Queen front loader that spins at a high speed near that. The heat of the dryer is the magic ingredient. Delicate Fabrics would need a slower agitation and spin so you are wise to look for that, just not for permanent press.
