yes, Virginia, there are still Hotpoints

Well, actually, I have seen Hotpoints in recent years. They are rated in consumer report magazines along with other makes. CR calls Hotpoint "GE's budget line of appliances". A local dealer here also sells these alongside GEs. The HP washer is very spartan looking to say the least as well as their dishwashers. The ranges are pretty decent still and great values. Not to insinuate your name is Virginia, but I thought that was appropriate for the season

Yes,I believe they never stopped making Hotpoints. As "pointed" 8^) out, they're just a less expensive version of GE.
